Chromecast

Hi all

I just purchased a chromecast but im having trouble getting picture on the tv... It works perfectly when I use youtube but I cant when im on chrome I cant get the pichure on the tv

Ive read that there needs to be a cast icon somewhere but I dont know how to get it active....

I know its a stupid problem...

I have been though this... im using a galaxy tab 2 and installed chrome app. I dont find the chrome cast extension.

Not sure if it works from a tablet. Those were instructions for pc use. I'll give it a bash tonight (have tab2 + chromecast as well)

I heard the only way is to use the web video caster app... I havent tried it yet.
I just got my chromecast and with the intention for all sport.

What are you streaming? I need to learn how to get my sports streaming....

How do you setup plex? I installed the app and created a logon...

you get a free version that needs the plex pass subscription, or you can buy it for R50 once off

Then you need the plex media server on your network somewhere

i don't know about chromecast but the samsung screencast device works perfectly from my tablet.
