My friend told me something about chromium and I thought that I share it with you guys. My experience in Linux is average and my main distro is Arch Linux.
If you go to
chrome://gpu
you will see your graphics feature status
Everything needs to be green to have a smooth hardware rendering experiences.
The way you can make them all green is by enable few flags in
chrome://flags
Enable - GPU compositing on all pages
Enable - Override software rendering list
Enable - GPU Accelerated SVG Filters
Enable - Enable VP9 playback in <video> elements
Enable - Enable CSS Shaders
Now restart chromium and check chrome://gpu for the new status
Hope this info was helpful for someone..
