CIM900 File Layout

Hi Guys,

Maybe someone can help me?

I have to import the CIM900 file but I dont have the document that explains the layout of the file. Does anyone maybe have it to share?

Get hold of bankserv they will be able to give it to you. Also depends where you got the file from ABSA have their own format (we use theirs).
 
I tried, they then directed me to our bank(FNB), who then said I must contact our representative at the bank.

And after all the schlep I still dont have the file.

Can't believe it is such a schlep to get the file layout.

There is a different format for each bank and for each of their products.
Some use zero filling and other dont, some have headers with details and others have the details on each line.
I dont have the spec sheets anymore but years ago we got them from ACB which has all bank formats.

your bank should be able to give it to you. Remember you cant transfer a file straight to bankserv.
 
I cant believe it either, did you tell them you are a software dev and are wanting it to create exports?
 
We were using cdvdll, but the results seems to very shaky, where an absa account number is valid for fnb, nedbank and absa

Lol if you wanted CDV i could have just sent you my CDV code i wrote:P We use it in 120 branches nation wide:P

Well when he said verification i thought he meant to validate that the account belongs to the amount holder etc. Not just that the account no verifies against the branch.:P
