Cinnamon 2.0 dropping Gnome as back-end

This is very good news. With latest development in Linux and the ever increasing distancing from Ubuntu's side, a few distros had to switch to other window managers (like Cinnarch), so I welcome this!

good news indeed, i have actually been fighting with them on this very issue to the point where iv'e had some nasty arguments with clem... Glad he came to his senses

they should have done this in 1.8 already.
