Overview of the Company: RSAWEB is an established and rapidly expanding Internet Services Provider, specializing in Internet Access & Cloud Hosting Solutions. Overview of the role: We are looking for a talented and experienced individual with at least 2 years Cisco experience. We provide an excellent opportunity to learn hands on technical and personal skills in a dynamic exciting environment.
Minimum Requirements:
• CCNP/CCSP certification or working towards these qualifications with at least CCNA Office Cisco certified exam completed (CSCO Reference number required)
• 2+ years working within a Cisco environment
• Experience and knowledge of Cisco routers and switches (IOS)
• Experience and knowledge of IP addressing / subnetting
• Good sound networking and TCP/IP skills
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting ability
• Valid driver license and own transport
Key Performance areas:
• Provide core support to customers and internal staff, log, report and track progress via help desk ticket logging system
• Troubleshoot, log and liaise with 3rd party providers in the event of downed/erratic customer access lines
• Completing tasks and achieving goals within allocated period.
• Monitor network infrastructure
• Providing IT support in an timely and accurate manner
• Provide network security by configuring routers, switches, firewalls etc. according to company security standards
• Proactively problem solving and overseeing the activities involved in quality resolution of complex technical issues, responding with an appropriate sense of urgency to problems escalated to Network Engineer’s level
• Provide 24/7 Support and maintenance on a rotating shift basis
