CISCO Switches and Routers

Hey Guys

I have 4 CISCO Routers and Switches thats in my way. Can I sell these? I mean is there a need for these second hand devices. All four are rack mountable.

What I have is:

1 x http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/routers/2600-series-multiservice-platforms/index.html
1 x http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/switches/catalyst-2950-series-switches/index.html
2 x http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/routers/2800-series-integrated-services-routers-isr/index.html

Any input or advice will be great!

Can you give detailed model numbers? The first 2 are end of life, the third you may sell easily depending on what it has on it
 
2nd hand Cisco's have good value, but also depending on what its got on it as HunterGR says.

For our ISP 6 years ago, nearly all Cisco was 2nd hand. I think the same equipment is still running

I know Cisco is flagship when it comes to server equipment, I just wanted to know if any of these have DSL ports and can be used in a home environment, ill be doing my CCNA later this year so if this could replace my current router that would be great.
 
Do the routers have any slotted cards, and if so, which? Second hand value retention on Cisco kit is pretty good, even though its not so big in SA.
 
The EOL equipment is always interesting, especially for hacking/playing
 
All the cisco kit can be sold for good money.

Even EOL switches are quickly grabbed up by people doing the Cisco certs. I bought 2 last week :)

Some routers can be emulated on GNS3 but none of the switches can really be emulated properly hence everyone looking for them.

Not really true.
I have emulated nexus switches as well as L2 and L3 switches with full advanced licensing.
I havent found any Metro series switch emulations yet, but you can do almost everything at the moment virtually

Simple answer would be, no these routers are in no cases used as DSL routers. They are more likely to be used as datacentre CE (client edge) routers, with either a serial or ethernet based leased line. The other answer would be yes, you can, if you slot a ADSL or VDSL WIC card in them.
 
Ok So I have no idea what these are worth. I am attaching pics of the backs and fronts of them.
Guidance in prices for these things will be great.

Yes, they can dial a PPPOE connection through a external modem like all DSL routers. These specific ones above are not DSL modems though so a external modem would be needed. (Or you could add a internal one via WIC card)
