Yeah but it's a small part of their business compared to their routing&telco products. I'll be honest and say I've never come across a cisco server before unless you count their unity voip products.

Many of the big boys use the server kit... the unified platform is attractive for some applications.

But yeah, it's a small part of the business in general. I think they wish it was bigger though.

We have 6 Cisco servers, or should I rather say 3 HP servers rebranded Cisco and 3 IBM servers rebranded Cisco... used for Cisco UCM. We need to upgrade to the latest version, but will not be buying physical servers again, going to deploy the new servers in VMware environment.

They definitely already are doing that...

But, Cisco have their own kit that isn't rebranded already... The UCS Blades are pretty much all Cisco already from what I know.
