Cisco WIC-1ADSL Question

A quick one guys.

Will a WIC-1ADSL work properly on one of the new ADSL2 (8Mb / 12Mb) enabled exchanges?

In other words, will the Cisco router sync at 8Mb or 12Mb?

Yes of course up to 24Mbps ADSL2+ on the downlink, only restriction is 1 Mbps uplink. To go to 2.5 Mbps uplink one requires a different Annex M model (tho cant see Telkom offering beyond 1Mbps upload anyway).

Also depends on what IOS version you are running on the router.

Also check the settings in the config.

There are a huge number of settings for ATM / DSL including the ADSL 2+
