Cities Skylines II

super psyced for this one, been playing first one on and off for years with some DLC packs.
Would love some more real world scenarios with upgrading shanty towns to a thriving economy and smart cities/rural areas

I hope they fix the terrain. It was near impossible to build realistic terrain, such as flat beaches and gentle slopes towards the oceans. Most cities had huge cliffs between the land and the water, very unrealistic.

Hmm.... Youve lost me
Stellies traffic. Put it another way, not even a theoretical physicist could model and predict Stellies traffic. I doubt even God can. In fact I'm sure it's some sort of ritualistic summoning of Yog Sogoth, eater of all things (except spicy Nando's chicken).

Ah yes. My parents lived in Stellebosch for a couple of many years. Nevermind traffic, finding parking was horrific. Makes zero sense.

They're sticking to Unity.

If I recall, the devs mentioned that the maps could have 50 - 150 unlockable tiles, so hopefully they've optimized the engine enough to handle the computational workload.
My god imagine they haven't. TwoDollahsTwenty's gonna have to speed up his YT videos, again, all KSP2 like.

Oh it makes a lot of sense if you had a horse and buggy and lived 200 years ago. Now... yeah, not so much. It's city level traffic for a town, twice a day at least.

You could always port real world height data in and smooth the beach side. You’re just going to have to set up the water currents.

A terrain tool that blew me away was from planet coaster. It’s the first time I’ve seen a simple terrain tool capable of drawing overhangs.

I enjoy Terraform Tool by rollo.

Confirmed October 24th! R749 pre-order or R1349 for the Ultimate (includes an expansion and content packs). Looks really really good and I'm well excited!
