I just replaced my distributor cap and I didn't check before disconnection as to where the Spark plugs cables go into the distributor cap (connection order) plz help...https://www.dropbox.com/s/4n2enh9ne6nfio8/1363012775558.jpg

Have a look on the engine itself around the distributor cap or on the valve cover even.

It's cast into the metal normally, but I guess it could be a sticker as well.

Quick Google says 1-3-4-2 but that's for a '97 model.

Google did not help me when some prior owner put the distributer in 180 degrees out in one of my cars :wtf:

1-3-4-2, I don't really get this....does it mean I lead 1 connects to 1 on the cap...3 connects to 2 on the cap...4 connects to 3 nd 2 connects to 4 on the distributor

Ok I managed to get the car going thanks guys.....one important thing was to check where the rotor was(position) and I connected my lead there as my 1..going clockwise following 1342...thanks again...also improved my idling...it was around 970rpm now its just over 1000..
