Clareinch PPP down?

Anyone else on Clareinch 3 syncing but not getting a PPP connection today?

I have had this problem 3 times in the past 8 weeks and this time it has been all day. Got a Telkom fault logged which means it could be some more days.

Yeah, same problem here. Had it the other day too, hopefully they sort it out as quickly.

Got a call from the Telkom tech this morning (good turnaround after the call centre told me 3-4 days). He proceeded to do some things on the DSLAM - at my end the router lost sync and regained it a few times, then on the final sync it got PPP as well. (Oh, life goes on!!!!)

I asked what happened at the DSLAM and he gave me some analogy about modems losing power and not coming back up automatically. Who knows. Fingers crossed this is the last time and also fingers crossed they get metro ethernet on here.
