It's semantics and taxonomy. What slinkymike is making reference to is the misguided belief that humans are directly descended from the knuckle-dragging primates in the zoo.

A misrepresentation of common primate locomotion, they walk on their knuckles or fists, they do not "Drag" them.

It is important that we accept our own position as primates in the order of things, lest we get delusions of grandeur.
