Hi Guys,

I am busy selling my Jeep and Classe Cars contacted me to try and sell my car through their dealership. They have comprehensive insurance on the cars while it is with them and apparently have a 14 day turnaround on selling your car. Does anyone on here maybe have any experience with selling their car through classe cars?

Thanks

Yeah I've tried to sell through them... Wasn't a very good experience to be honest. They never managed to sell either of the two cars in two months. The adverts weren't very good (missing basics such as specifying service plan and optional extras) and we had to beg for feedback as well.

Took the cars back and one of the jacks had been stolen. They take them out of the cars to avoid customers stealing it and never put it back. I called when I got home from picking the cars up and they said they'd look for it.... They never found it

Thanks a lot. Guess I will be avoiding them then.

I've found private sales to be more effective than consignment sales. If you don't need the car, then the extra publicity with it parked at a dealership can't cause any harm but advertise it yourself as well and take the car back for a day or two if someone wants to see it
