CSA president AK Khan resigned, Willie Basson elected as acting president.

CSA audit and risk committee chairman John Blair resigned.

Brand and corporate relations manager Kass Naidoo also resigned.

The CSA board also suspended Majola as recommended by the Nicholson inquiry. Disciplinary process to follow.

North West Cricket Association’s CEO Jacques Faul has been appointed as acting chief executive.

A complete clean out is required to restore public & corporate confidence in cricket. This should include board and senior management.

He asked to be placed on long leave with pay while CSA sort out the issues. This was he would effectively still be CEO. The CSA Board rejected his requested and suspended him pending the disciplinary process. Unfortunately with full pay (it's the law).

I used to like her when she commentated on the cricket a few years back. It does seem like the people that run sports in this country are in it for the money and not the "love of the game". There are some players who think they are also bigger then the game. Sport is more about money these days.
