I Have a Sumsung 2232GW gloss screen which is starting to pick up fingerprints with is ftl... how do you clean a gloss LCD without making it worse?

use carlton roll paper towels. or tissues. soft and nice!

otherwise, you cannot go wrong with a proper DUST cloth (normally orange/yellow in colour)

EDIT: fingerprints on the screen? you know it isn't a touch screen right? or do you point at your screen a lot and actually touch the bugger?

use a genuine microfibre cloth .... and screen cleaner you buy from Makro ....

I use a cloth I bought from Esquire - powder blue one.

yes i know its not a touch screen - have had it for several months now not needing to clean it once, but sometimes i might touch it on accident or someone will walk into my room and be like "OOH SHINEY SURFACE!! TOUCH TOUCH TOUCH!!!" ... ftl :D

touching the screen still won't be any different even though the boobies are in hi-def :p

i would kill! touching shiny screen equals fork in eye... followed by perpetrator licking screen clean :p

I also bought a the Microfiber cloth from Esquire and it really works
I dont know if they still importing them though, I have also used very little Mr Min that took away all the grease and grime on my screen LOL

Btw I got a call from Arnie my rep this morning here in the Cape Town branch and they doing 1gig flash drives @R39.00 , a bargin if you ask me.

My 2232GW came with its own cloth???

Only discovered it a month later as it was hiding in the driver/manual packaging :p

Noticed the same thing the other day as I was going through a box of junk.

My LCD user manual says use a slightly dampened(with water) microfiber cloth.

I use the microfiber cloth I got with my macbook and a spray bottle filled with water and drop of anti-bacterial alcohol.

I also use a Microfiber cloth, but not the 1 from Esquire got it somewhere else and it works great, with this clean-cleaning fluid:
Lens Cleaner with Anti-Fog Alcohol & Ammonia free. Blue bottle clear liquid.

When I had a 2232gw I cleaned it with an off-cut piece of polar-fleece/micro-fleece.
