Sadly all the one's with damage will be going....

My youth..... Fading away....

I even had a few that were from before I was born....

Wow, brings back so many memories of rainy days :)

I simply cannot bring myself to throw out any of mine, they are still boxed and will probabily remain in my life till the day I die.

I have a few of those, I loved the Battle Comics growing up, they are my dads but I read them cover to cover.

Ugh. I feel your pain... First wife threw out a stack, two to three times that size, when we hooked up.

I was more a DC guy 'tho, so it was Detective Comics, Action Comics, The Flash, JLA, Green Lantern and on and on and on and on...

*sigh*

For what it's worth, all those in the above images is the stuff that I am dumping.... missing pages, torn pages, scribbled pages....

:o

Maybe donate to an orphanage rather than dumping? I know they're damaged but still could provide some joy to kids who don't have any access.

The thought had crossed my mind, I have not thrown away, but packed into Apple boxes and wrapped in Black bags... next time I head on down to the Cape, I will take them with...

Damn, I always feel sad when people have to throw out their sentimental belongings.
