Any advice from 1st hand experience to clean plastic parts of my itx pc case.

The dust is sticky on the plastic.

funny enough, i use windowleen , works good, even on screens
Thanks. I tried some liquid soap and water.

Asked for 1st hand experience because afraid of damaging the plastic.

But I think windolene should be safe to try.

Strip it and wash in warm water with sunlight liquid using a nail brush, shake and pat down exess water & blow out with warm hairdryer.

I have successfully used several of the methods given here. Both alcohol and Windolene work well. They are low viscosity liquids that get into the texture of the plastic. The method ponder suggested of removing the part and using a nailbrush is the best if you have the energy.

Update:

Still a long way to go but windolene worked

Worst off now just some more TLC with microfibre cloth.

Noted some fine nicks. Will need something to fill nicks.

Thinking like toothpaste for cds type solution.

Sure YT and Google will provide a solution.

Update windolene got most off. Will use hand sanitiser with microfibre to see if the minor gunk can be cleaned off.

Thanks to all.
