Cleaning your dishwasher and washing machine

So. What do you guys use? I every now and again buy those packets dishwasher and washing machine cleaner. It can be a bit pricey though. Last week I felt it time to clean out the machines again. So dunked a bottle of vinegar into both and ran the drum clean cycle for washing machine and 90 minute cycle for dishwasher. Hope it gets the gunk and limescale out.

What do you guys use?

The fancy tablets. The machine can self clean with a normal dishwashing tablet but like to be extra sure they’re clean.

Vinegar for the washing machine though

I put dishwasher granules in the washing machine at 90 degrees, and washing powder in the dishwasher at 65 degrees. Makes them both spotless.

For the washing machine, chuck a dishwasher tablet in there on the hottest cycle..

You must also clean out the filter of your dishwasher and washing machine. Makes a big difference.

in toploader 1 cup of yellow clean green every couple of weeks on low setting .dishwasher same ,sometimes add an anti foam if needed .

vinegar if left to soak will remove limescale ,but can also eat up any aluminium and even chrome .karbro is a better bet .
