Does anyone know where you can get these covers or if anyone still keeps them..? You used to see them quite often but I haven't been able to find them anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For what purpose tho?
Think the OP is referring to those clear, soft plastic membranes that Mecer(?) used to offer to water/dust-proof their keyboards back in the day when beige was the colour of choice for computer equipment, they used to develop a yucky brown tinge after a while. Haven't seen anything similar in years.

Is it really worth the funny "typing" feel? You could pop it the dishwasher every now and then, or use a cloth with some keyboard cleaner?

Oh, you mean the one that is always on the keyboard?
Those got nasty after a while.

Yes but it would be an improvement... Trust me. I guess I'm out of luck then.

Why not just get a vacuum sealer and seal your keyboard in a plastic bag?
It sounds crude but may work.
