Client Evite help...

A client has requested that I design an evite for them. Basically I've created the newsletter template with sample content and then all they have to do is press forward, edit the text they need to edit (like the to: name). All of this works fine, but they use outlook, I use Thunderbird and when I press forward on the newsletter to test it, it loses it's background color. It's easy for me to just change the background color again and then send, BUT what I actually want to know is....

Is there a way to make the BG color stay when forwarding a newsletter in outlook? If I could sort this out, then it would already be MUCH better.
