Client with RB411 no access to Hotmail or Yahoo

I have a client that cannot login to his MSN Hotmail or yahoo accounts when using wireless network, however his wifes account works fine over the same network.

When he uses his 3g device he can login to his account.

This happens in linux and windows and we have illiminated his wireless router and firewall.

any suggestions?

I had exactly the same problem with a couple of users on wireless too. Our connection terminates to an IS uncapped account, where did your bw come from? We did also have a mac problem with gmail and their default change to https but sorted that out. Weird was that all other sites worked fine and when the client went to the internet cafe he had access to hotmail and yahoo. Very odd. We use linksys routers at the client end and the actual network gateway is a billion thing.

As an addendum, it kind of sorted itself out after 4 or 5 days so we are not sure it was a network latency issue or IS playing upstream however, I would have expected to have ssen more complaints about similar issues had IS been to blame.

Same story here! eventually sorted itself out after client logged in at internet cafe. we also use IS.

Same here i was on an vodacom uncapped account and it also sorted it self out after 2 days, (myne was gmail problem) maybe its there servers that gives problems...
