Clip-in filter for digital camera

I have a FinePix S5600 at the moment and was wondering if anyone perhaps knows if you get clip-in filter for it?

OK first off what kind of effect are you looking to achieve with this filter? There are numerous types: circular polarising, UV, soft-focus, neutral density, graduated neutral density, warm-up, cool-down etc etc etc etc

The S5600 does not use clip on filters, rather 55mm screw in filters.

Thanks for the reply Edward

Effects I'm looking to achieve at the moment are; warm and cool down, UV, soft focus, neutral density and B/W.

I live in Port Elizabeth, and I could not find anyone in PE that stocks filters, hence the reason for asking.

OK well since you are using a digital camera, the warm up and cool down filters have been replaced with digital effects. There might be a filter effect menu somewhere on your camera... UV filters are used mostly now days to protect the front lens element but are pretty arbitrary in my opinion. Soft-focus can also be achieved relatively easily using editing software. Neutral density filters are rather pricey, expect to pay R500+ and wait a few weeks while it is ordered in. There is no such thing as a B/W filter, that effect is achieved through setting your camera to black and white mode or by converting to black and white using software.

So basically almost all the effects you are looking for can be achieved by using simple editing software.

I was looking at a big stack of filters at Katz just the other day. If they don't have the one's you want I'm certain they'd be more than happy to order them for you.

@Edduck

I am using the Photography module in Photoshop CS5 at the moment, and true, as you say, just about all those effects can be achieved there. Call this, me looking for advice :) And thats exactly what you gave me...Thanks, really appreciate the reply. Been doing photography for a while but still getting to all the in and outs :)
