One of our client`s based in Randburg has an opportunity for a technical - hands on Server engineer to administer, support, monitor and maintain the servers and server room infrastructure for the company.
To be shortlisted for this position you must the following certifications and experience;
A Post Matric Certificate or Equivalent NQF Level 5
A+
N+
MCSA / MCSE 2012
Linux+ or equivalent experience
VCP (VMware Certified Professional) or equivalent experience
Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) or equivalent experience
Server 2012 and 2016
Office 365 (Admin, Exchange online, SFB, Intune)

Duties
Engage with suppliers to ensure that contracts are signed on time, Supplier operates within SLA and that calls are attended to within an appropriate time, including escalations.
Monthly invoices are received on time and billing queries are resolved within a reasonable time.
Obtain quotations for server infrastructure and software for forecasting, projects and ad hoc server installations.
Ensure that the software and hardware as budgeted for is approved, ordered and delivered in line with the budgets.
Conduct bi-annual hardware and software audits to update the asset register and keep the licensing within compliance
