Hi Everyone,

Apologies if this has been dealt with before.

I've got a client who's looking to replace their server with a cloud storage solution. They only use the server for file sharing - around 200GB of docs.
The difficulty I'm having is the fact that they need permissions to be set up. They are only two users (the boss and her PA), and obviously there are docs that the PA isn't allowed access to.

I was thinking of a Dropbox kind of scenario, but I'm not sure if it can be permissioned like that.

Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations?

You can get 500GB for cheap @ EU1.49 per month if paid annually. Even less if paid biannually.

Of course thats in Europe but you could host in ZA for probably $30 a month for 200GB storage.

It's cheaper than that locally. Details coming soon.

OP, you could spin up an operating system of your choice and simply perform the permissions on the OS itself?

You could achieve this with a VPS and owncloud however it depends on how much work you want to invest.

quite the tease there, Shaun :P

Office 365 Business with 1TB of OneDrive storage could work depending on the amount of users.

Paid version of google apps - TB of space and full permission control. Green marks is company name
