Cloudburst causes chaos in Kimberley

Last night the wind got up something crazy in JHB and I could see what looked like a storm moving in from the south. I checked the cloud satellite images and there was a monster system over Kimberley, Bloem and much of the interior by 17:00. It moved north over the course of the evening but never materialised in JHB though. We had only a small bit of rain this morning.

Question though, Would the BMW in the 3rd picture be flooded inside? I'm not sure how well sealed cars are.

That BMW is sincerely fked. Full interior destruction.
