If the bomb is useful then it is useful. I refuse to climb on a bandwagon just because the majority does so. I respect the USA and others for not jumping when people want them to.

Many of those 111 are nations run by idiots.
 
The problem with cluster bombs is they leave small unexploded munitions that become essentially mines.

I haven't read into this yet so I don't know exactly what it's about.. Wouldn't be surprised if there's some totally unworkable scheme in there and this another leftie shrilling fantasy rubbish while setting the U.S up for a bashing as per their favoured modus operandi.
 
From what I heard on the news on Friday one of the reasons this treaty took so long to iron out was because of the SA government refusing to ban all Cluster ammunitions.

USA might have decided not to sign but our own government isn't much better as they only signed after certain munitions were exempt.
 
Don't blame the munitions - blame the people that drop them.

not true

cluster bombs are very bad because around 20% dont explode, lebanon is full of unexploded cluster bombs which maim weekly

cluster bomb is a horrible weapon, as useful as it is it can maim ppl long after the war is over

this weapon should be banned and US are idiots for not signing this treaty
