CM690 II Adv - Something Strange..

I bought the CM690 II Plus Adv from TAKEALOT - http://www.takealot.com/electronics/cooler-master-rc-692-kwn1-cm692-no-power-supply-unit,5829867

And i have notice the top panel where it says you can put an external HD and have like something to close it i do not have that.. It's just a blank thing ontop if it makes sense at all.

If you look at this picture http://www.coolermaster.com/upload/product_feature/CM690II-Adv_01.jpg that External X-Dock at the top off the Chassis mine looks like that but without the plug neither a cover.

Looks like you just bought the cm690ii Plus and not the cm690ii Advanced.
 
Ya that's your fault.. there are three versions of the case..
The basic, the plus and the advanced... Sux :(

EDIT: i'll be selling my advanced soon if you wanna buy it? :D

nah :) but thanks anyway, i was just wondering, i doubt i will ever use that top part anyway.

But while we on the topic what does the 3 benefit?

Basic
Plus
Advanced

Basic = "barebone" version without removable HDD cage and 2x bays are tool-less

Plus = Basic with removable HDD cage, 4x tool-less, 2x2.5" → 3.5" converter

Advanced = Plus with HDD dock and graphics card retention bracket.
