Hi boys,
I am using the Domains.co.za site and see they have a few options for CMS

Which one would be the most user friendly one for a beginner?

I have attached 2 pics of what they offer.

The site template I want says they recommend MOTOcms but domains dont offer it.

Would appreciate your input.
Thanks

Depends what you want to do with it I suppose. For me Wordpress works just fine for most things.

Problem with Wordpress is how does one remove the blog part etc etc?
Not easy or possible is it?

Very easy.... Move the files out of the /blog/ folder and update your database in phpmyadmin to point to the new location, assuming you will just have to remove /blog/ in the wp options table in 2 different rows, siteurl and home

If it's a clean install at Domains.co.za, just remove the installation and re-install it but make sure that you install it with no directory, leave default directory settings, IE blank field in the directory section.

Thanks guys or all the help and advice.

Ok so I am getting somewhere but what I need to know if the following, in terms of content and stuff to change, I have attached a picture below of what I see.

Isnt there some type of WYSIWYG option in wordpress or at least an easier way to edit content?

Thanks boys and girls

You obviously have a theme installed that relies on shortcodes. Going the Admin page builder route can (WILL) cause issues when you decide to change themes.

So stick to the shortcode theme or decide on a premium theme that is well supported with Visual Composer as the admin page builder. It has a learning curve but great when you actually know it.

Once again, be aware of the issue when you decide to change themes that doesnt support visual composer. Or else.....

Thanks I paid for this template. They want me to spend another 29 US for motopress, is it worth it in your opinion?

Havent used motopress before. Either way, drag and drop will really cause headaches if you change themes and just make sure that the theme actually supports visual composer or motopress
