So being work from home , it's getting a bit cramped and isolated. So was looking at some of these coworking / micro offices that have sprung up. 2 within 1km of each other, just up the road form me just suddenly appeard.

So being what I do, I would need to leave my monitor and maybe some files, overnight, so I was looking at the smallest lockable office. They start at just under 7k plus extras, a permanent open desk is 5k pm. Now I paid 7k 2 years ago for a 6 person office in Cape Town.

My question is, since they are popping up in what seems like any unused office space, are they not going to out price theselfs, are these places actually full?

I would spend 7k a month on renovating my house rather than paying someone else for a lockup cubicle.

Agreed.

If it gets lonely working from home, you can take an hour lunch every day and go eat at a coffee shop. Even at R120 a day for a sandwich and coffee plus tip you are still only spending R2,400 per month. Take your laptop with and do another hour's work while sitting at the coffee shop.

R7k for a cubicle is crazy.

Sanity prevails.

If you have the R7k to burn by all means go right ahead just spend it better.

Yea, but the question is there are so many of these popping up, but then you only need to see the International "we work" company story. But you don't meet girls at home though.

Don't drive a BMW, I play safe with a Volvo, keeps the dad's happy with the safety features. A Volvo is the most underrated pickup car out there, gives a responsible impression.

You meet them at church.

That’s where the wildest ones hang out, in my experience.

Unfortunately been banned from most of them, they don't like the fact I join for a free Gym Session, all the jumping about and clapping, or I ask too many questions or difficult questions. Also if I have a bad week, I still have to sit for 2 hours listing to the dude telling me how k*K I am.
