Hi,

I would like this one domain, lets say Domain X. It currently has not been paid by the other party and has received their 2nd invoice. When can I make a request with UniForum for this domain?

You will need to wait until the domain name is deleted, which is when the domain name has an ICnt of 6 and when it reaches the scheduled deletion date. The schedule can be viewed here: http://co.za/schedule.shtml

I normally only pay my invoices by INV 3 so you might be outa luck, is there currently a site that is available (as in are they paying for a host that is maybe just as tardy as I am)?

There isn't any mechanism to pre-buy a domain in case it expires. I suggest you contact the current owner and not wait for it to expire (as if you can take over the domain if they no longer want it, or make them an offer). I've been noticing a domain speculators snapping up domains (using bots) within minutes of them being unregistered (upon reaching INV 6, I believe).

Yep you still have a few months to wait. Lots of domains regularly go past inv 2... Some people only notice when it gets suspended.

I recently got lucky where the guy did not pay, and I took the domain and then got contacted by him to buy it back
Seems 'Cybersquatting' works if you do it right

I know this has said many times before, but its very important to make sure the domain registrant and registrant email have your (the domains owners) details.

I know, i know , I KNOW!!!

The hosting company I use are now correctly updating all the info and following best practices. I was just about to move away from them on Thursday when I saw the updated my one domain correctly with my latest details. I'm now hoping for the squatted domain to expire.

Your post bring out violent tendencies in me

I always use fake details when registering a domain name, only important thing being the registrant email. Should I be arrested?

I'd sooner tell people I was a telkom employee than a cybersquatter.
