I had my registrar transfer my domain to the EPP system after having a VPS created for our services. This was done on Monday as we needed the DNS for the VPS to be loaded onto the domain NS records.

The domain had been transferred and the Registrars details is perfectly visible with the old NS records.. Im still waiting going on 4 days now for the NS records to be updated.

Heres the utter Bull**** from the Uniforum Support Agent.
"It takes 5 days for the NS records to be updated once a domain is transferred onto the new EPP system."

Please post if you would like the name of the Agent.

The information you have been given is wrong.
It takes 5 days for the registrant to update and during this time no other updates can take place.

Not sure who you are using for your domain management, but part of the clean up process for transfers is to update the name servers prior to the contact, thus ensuring that the name servers update first.

Feel free to PM me more details and advice on how to get this resolved.

If there is an outstanding pending update you can cancel the update, change the nameservers and restart the contact information update.

This.

I've recently moved around 60 domains from legacy to EPP and have had to make NS changes within the day/two after moving them, had to cancel the domain contact update and redo to get the nameservers done, which is instant.

Get A New Registrar :)
Or better yet Be Your Own Registrar if you run WHMCS, get a reseller Option for EPP and do your own registrations.
You do not need to be a Registered RAR on EPP to register/manage domains through your own WHMCS
