CO.ZA with minimal registrant details

Hi All,

I'm looking to register some co.za domains and have few questions about registrant details.

I'm noticing some domains expose very little information when performing a whois:
Example: mybroadband.co.za

But others expose a ton of information (including billing history):
Example: apple.co.za

How does one go about registering a domain like the first instance?
When I do a email application via UniForum they moan that these other fields are required?

Also if I already have a domain that has all the info filled out, is it possible to somehow remove the additional information?

Obviously I'd like to keep as much of my personal information off the internet as possible.

Those are registered(or renewed) with the new EPP system.

As keegan said, these are domains registered using the EPP system.

Elitehost is an accredited registrar: http://www.elitehost.co.za/domains

New domains can be registered. Any old domains can be transferred free of charge and the details will be updated once the transfer completes.

Thanks I didn't realise the system had changed so much!

There are 100's of available registrars, any suggestions?

Morning jaseum

When Uniforum introduced the EPP system they did away with the administrative, billing and technical contacts. Domains registered via an accredited registrar will only show to contacts, the Registrant (owner of the domain) and the Registrar.
To have your legacy domains "have less" info you need to migrate / transfer them to an Accredited Registrar and once transferred these domains will only have the two contacts listed as per above.
Transferring co.za domains from Uniforum's legacy system to an accredited registrar is free, how ever, once a domain has been moved to an accredited registrar it cannot be moved back to the legacy system.

Take a look at our reseller solution, which will allow you to register co.za domains at R49 as well as renew domains at R49.00. The system allows you to define what contact information is listed on the whois page, and all managed via a web based domain management control panel.

Thanks for the help everyone I managed to come right!

I am slightly disappointed with the functionality offered my our registrars. Managing my personal and business domains under one account is a huge pain (different registration/billing info etc).
