CoCT and off grid solar system approval

Has anybody gotten CoCT to approve their off grid solar system, would appreciate advice on getting mine done

I did it, needed certificate of compliance for house and then had my solar installer provide their piece and submitted. Pretty straightforward although had to renew / update our electric cert for house due to renovations so there was some legwork on that side.

Thanks, I just made it a bit more complicated ( and more money ) by going grid tied Victron

Issued a certificate
Made a line drawing
Submitted
3 months later received the permit

Was that for an off grid

I am renovating and am interested in adding pc panel. Do you still have to pay a monthly charge for electricity. Any info on grid tie and off grid would be appreciated.
