i respect the idea of trying something new but for heavens sake its the call of duty series , you (dear old activision) already have an exp system + unlocks going on the game and now you expect me to pay for this $#^ , well i can tell you , DENIED from my side.

I will not be buying another cod ever again if this monthly subs thing comes into place. i dont care how many perks it has. theres better things to waste money on and things to do outside than feed the evil greed of activision. shame shame shame! cod4 still has alot of potential as everything just works !

Where did you hear they want to start monthly subscriptions. If they do I'm not going to bother paying, I'd rather just play BFBC2 or any other fps that's free.

even though its on a xbox website , nothing stops activision from moving that over to the pc and i just checked the date on that , even though its last years story , the question is: have they decided to silently drop it or are they still deep in thought $$$$$

after reading this site i wish i could put kotick on a auto-kicking device so that his balls would permanently be kicked until he passes out from hunger. makes me so flippin angry

Well thats a bit harsh :/ Just give the game some time (an a few gigs of your cap to download all patches) and hopefully it will become better...

When you buy a new car, do you expect it to spend more time at the service station than your garage? No, thus I expect the same type of service when buying the game.
It's a shocking release version, and I work for a huge software company, and quite frankly this was a huge disappointment.

Hence I too will think long and hard before ever buying a COD series.

I will buy another COD, as long as its not by treyarch.
( well ill first wait a few days to see if there is a nuke of complaints :P )

Have to agree, we say it now that we won't buy it again, but if memory serves me right, we said the same thing when CODMW2 was released. :p

lol yes, we did!!!!

A subscription to COD after I already forked out the money. Hell NO!!!!

But what if for example, you can download the multiplayer part for free, and then pay the subscription??????
That can make things more interesting. But knowing Activision....... they will sell you dog sh** if they could:D

Sounds like WoW. And no, I won't. My wallet has a limit and just knowing about RIG, would not justify it.

Well you pay them to beta test the game for them. There has been a lot of info on the problems of the last 2 COD releases. And its always been clear that Activisions main objective is to have a low cost to company when developing COD and very high sales. They used COD4 as a starting point for the last 3 COD's to ensure minimal money spend on development. They use a limited amount of time for testing and never allows outside beta testing for the public. So that people could test it for them report the problems then fix it. They spend more money on marketing the game than in development.

So enjoy. And Good luck

Im sure if you pay R500 for something that should cost R350 max then you will pay R50 pm and then still pay R500 for the game. xD Activision markets their products so well.

I wouldn't waste my money on it. I have MW2, I get pwned by everybody and I only go back because its that or BFBC2 (and I don't feel like driving/being squished by a tank today).
But each time I hop online I wait forever to match up, then get this useless group of neanderthals who are crouchinng under some mushroom spawn killing one another to get the 'lolololIgotnuke" award for biggest dimwit in a two mile area.

Damn I hate that game. Why the HECK do I play it?
