COD MW 2 Steam update

How big is the latest update for MW2?

I have been downloading for 2hrs already and its only at 44%.

It took me less that half and hour. The game probably didn't complete the installation properly

There seems to be a problem with the installation of the game. Did it prompt you to insert your second disc? If not, restart your installation. I did not know this and it basically downloaded the entire second disc from steam before completing installation.

These updates are starting to bug me. Especially if it is updates for L4D2, or some or other game I do not even own!!!! I only have steam for MW2, and do not want all the other crap

Those are the Steam client updates. You'll just have to get used to it, I'm afraid.
