COD MW2 Updatin what?

I purchased the game and steam is busy updating it, but dame it hasnt reached 1% and downloaded 85Megs, Y?

Cracks that allow illegal copies to play online. I think they are fixing it. And maybe the rest is the one or two bugs.

Arrgghh...!!! Since the game was released on November 10, 2009 why so much updating required. O' and why has it installed from the 1st disk and not asked for the second disk?

That's weird.

I put 1st disk in, updated a bit, then disk2 and update a bit..

iirc a few people had this problem. I would browse the steam forums and see what the solution is, the update may be downloading disc 2 and that will kill your cap!

Anyone know if they're going to bring out a demo? I have always been a strategy gaming person, but I have started to enjoy games like Far Cry and the like. They hype about MW2 has been huge. I would love to see what it's like before I buy it.

Well if you are going to play online buy it dude. There is no strategy though, spawn run and kill

Sure you can flank but essentially you run and gun .

Problem sorted. What i did, inserted disk 1 and reinstalled MW2, then asked for disk 2 and completed installation, problem sorted. 1st the game installed without asking for disk 2 leading me to think it was downloading disk 2. Beware of this problem.
By the way the game is AWESOME!
