COD4 help please

Hey guys. Recently started playing COD4 online, both intl. and local. Unfortunately, since hosting dota games after getting a 4mb line, I can no longer access local COD4 games only international ones.

I've gone through a number of forums and threads but nothing has helped so far.:mad:

Please help me correct this problem.

Join Game > Source: Favorites ...... add IP's of local servers.


Also as mentioned, update Punkbuster and make sure your game is version 1.7.568 (sometimes not applying the patches leads to servers not showing up in list)

1. ISP: Telkom (local) but running pada's traffic splitting app so have intl. also

2. all local servers are unavailable.

1. according to PBsetup v3.4 no updates required

2. not sure how to check game version, but according to PB my "client version" is 2.258 and my "server version" is 1.818
 
As you join the game, the bottom right of the main screen is the version.

Try connect direct to a game and see what happens. Press ~ and type /connect 196.2.97.212:28960
 
My first guess is the problem is with your ISP. See if you can get one of those Afrihost 1GB free accounts and see if you can pick up any local servers...
