i recently formatted my pc, reinstalled MW and now i cant connect to any SA servers? (saix etc) i added them but when i refresh, none of the servers come up. i can connect to the random ones on the internet though? can any1 help???

i just downloaded both patches and installed them and updated PB just to be sure. still no joy though. you guys have any other ideas?

Check your Firewall and AV make sure those have the game for connectivity on th Exceptions list... also check your services to make sure that PB is running in the background you can also check it from your Taskmanager...

ive done that, i really dont know wat the hell is going on! i can connect to overseas servers but i cant connect to any of the local servers.

When you see the servers do you see the last number in the line or is it just dashes?

Secondly download the PB update software add MW and check for updates

when i refresh my list of favourites (local servers) no servers come up at all.

i have already done that with PB.

If no servers comes up its maybe to do with your filters on the servers.

Check the filters and what kind of servers you try to display.
It needs to Internet or favrioutes and some little tweaks.

If that is not the problem then I have no idea.

i have checked my filters and it isnt that either? it worked perfectly before i formatted my pc?

how do i ping saix?

Try going to www.gametracker.com find the South African servers and then in COD4 add the servers to your favourites but remember to add the ports as well then refresh your lists and see if that works... adding manually may be a pain in the ass but it could help....

i have added the favourites manually and it still didnt work! i think im just going to try get hold of somebody at saix.

My mate is having the same problem. He uninstalled Cod4 and re-installed and once he adds Saix servers to his favorites they just display as question marks with no Pings. Let me know how you solve this.

my dangerous option, is to switch off your av and firewall and see if it works...

...i sometimes have to do that when i go to a LAN (yes, i know its not the same thing)
