Then I assume you don't have internet at home. :( Not to be rude, but what a sad live. :p I can't think of a world without internet.
 
Hi everyone ! My friend and I are looking for Cod4 players via Hamachi, who can play as often as possible. We are both French but we can both speak english. Tell me who's interested =D !

wishblade and I had a lot of problems on friday to play. Mostly due to patches. I formatted the weekend and want to het hamachi up again and COD4 (CODWaW maybe?) but I need to find out what the version is most of you use? I have patch v1.6 and v1.7. i think we all should go with v1.7. The patches are available locally. Please let me know.

I played with spidersayan and his team (they in Frans :confused: ) over hamachi and my ping was 500-600, was just playable.

BTW, isn't there any vpn software that can work with our local cap?
 
Yeah, had a lot of crap trying to everything patched correctly. Although I started with 1.7, I think I ended up breaking something - had to go the re-install path, and patch correctly.

@Sharkbait: I think everything is working correctly now, using correct patches. As far as I know, everyone should be using the 1.7 patch...

Tested it a bit last night, and it seems to work now :) Whenever you all up for a game sometime ... post a comment :D

Nope dont have internet yet. But im working on it. i get most of my internet fixes at work and when i am home i have other stuff to "amuse" me like xbox (GTA4) and the normal humdrum of cooking and cleaning after my lazy dirty housemate........ Will get internet when i get another place.
 
umm soz guys, you know of anyone on the hamachi network playing COD5? is only i have @ the moment

wishblade and I did try, but we had more problems with that and I think it is because of the online profile thing. Have you downloaded and installed the v1.1(IIRC) patch? I don't mind trying again... You on xfire?

used to only play counter strike online, now i wanna switch to cod, so i'm new to the jargon, hehe

do you know where i can find the v1.1 patch?
not on xfire, is that im app?
