Probably a really stupid question but i cannot see the SGS servers in my listings in COD4, really want to play online, is there a way of accessing the server via the console as the ip adresses are listed on SAIX website?

You can add them to your favorite list, simply go to join a server, click the Add Favorite Server and enter the ip's with the ports. Then when you start the game again you can click on the Server: at the top to toggle between Internet Lan Favorites
Here are the ip's for the saix servers that i have.
196.4.79.78:28960
196.4.79.78:28970
196.4.79.78:28980
196.4.79.78:28990
196.4.79.79:28960
196.4.79.79:28970
You can also use the console command "connect *.*.*.*" and the ip + port if you want to go that way

Add them manually, then click on favourites and they'll always be there.
rumors have it, when u install a patch, it kills that list, but it hasn't happened to me yet.

Was just searching for my other post, here are some simple instructions that I personally compiled as well:
1) Go to : http://games.saix.net/servers_cod4.php
2) On the Join Game menu, at the top of your screen, set your Source to Favorites.
3) Then click on the "New Favorite" button (top right of your screen) and then enter all of those IPs (except the clan servers) at that link that I posted.
4) Now you have the local servers as your favorites and can just refresh them and join as you please.

adding something to favourites has never worked for me in ANY COD games... yes they added, if u try again, it asks to overwrite, but actually getting them to appear in favourites doesn't work, till someone said ADD IT MANUALLY and its there for good.

What i have found, is that my favorites dissapear from time to time. All you do then to get them back is to click on Add New Favorite and leave the box empty and Add. It will say that the box is empty and jump back to the Favorite menu and all your old favorites are back.
