CoD4 vs CoD5 (Online)

Easy question, which one is more popular online? I'm going to buy one of the two today and I'm not sure which one to get...:confused:
 
CoD4 you can play local cap only. CoD5 requires international cap for verification before you can connect to local servers...just incase that's a problem for you :)
 
Me got uncapped :p I prefer CoD4 to CoD5 but I figured CoD5 would be more popular just cause it's newer...
 
I would have to say COD4 destroys COD5 in almost every area...4 in my opinion runs much smoother than 5, considering 5's graphics are really not much better and I actually think are crap. 5's game play is much slower and almost jerky, 4's is solid and fluid. I think you get the point, 5 for me is just a huge let down. I still play it though, but it really doesn't rock my boat like 4 did/does. 5 is however still very popular considering that I sometimes battle to get a spot on the TDM server, where as since the release of 5 I can generally always get on the 4's TDM server. One thing I can say for sure is that you only start sort of enjoying 5 after about level 30 or so. I remember up to then I just hated it, but slowly got better guns and perks.
 
Good luck trying to get a copy of cod 4. I have tried every store in Durban and i could not get a copy. I tried take2 as well. they all out of stock. Any ideas where i can get a copy from?
 
Are there local Cod5 servers now? wats the easiest way to connect to them? For Cod4 i use gamespy (something), but i dont have the same option for Cod5.

SGS has local servers...go to their site for the IP's. Look at live server listing link.

Add the server ip's as seen to "new favorites" in the game when trying to join a server. Anyways...its something to that effect...:p
