Well for the likes of me, I'm ready to pull my hair out. I can't figure out what's going on, I've gotten myself and my son 2 original copies of COD5 WaW and I've downloaded the latest patches for both.

I cannot get into a CO-OP game with the other PC, When he tries to join, he gets an error, "This game session is no longer available" or something like that. I've tried for the past day to get it to work, only once successfully getting in.

I've downloaded the Lan-Fix, changed routers, re-did the networking addresses, both PC's see each other, I've used Hamachi like people have recommended, downloaded the Atom patch/fix thing. Nothing is working, I just keep getting that same "game session no longer available" bs.

Can anyone help with this? I don't want to have wasted all that money on crap that refuses to work.

Found this at http://activision.custhelp.com/cgi-...nNlYXJjaF9ubCZwX3BhZ2U9Mg**&p_li=&p_topview=1

To setup for multiple users:
1) Right-click on the Call of Duty - World at War icon you use to start the game.
2) Select Properties.
3) In the Target field you'll see a line like "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\CoDWaWmp.exe", add the net_port command to specify a unique communication port for each system. The complete field should look like this:

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\CoDWaWmp.exe" +set net_port 28960

4) Click OK.
5) Repeat for each system behind the NAT, adding one to the net_port selected (28961,28962,28963 etc.. )

While the first player behind the NAT joins fine, adding additional players is problematic in the default configuration. Symptoms include rejected challenges, invalid cdkey, dropped delta packets, and severe "connection interrupted" messages.

By default, Call of Duty - World at War clients send and receive data over the same port, causing the server to treat multiple clients as a single data connection.

Hmm..I'm all googled out :(

Have you tried setting static ip's on both the pc's?

My brother and I had the same problem when we tried to connect to each other.
We were connecting over the internet though.

The solution was for me to disable route sentry and just play on the international connection. Some programs do not authenticate correctly with the traffic routing...

I'm not playing over the 'net though and I don't have route sentry. What the hell is wrong??

It's a game issue :) had the same problem also tried everything.

First you download the v1.0 No-CD Fix by Reloaded (Must be the reloaded one) HERE
(Don't worry about your game being 1.x just keep your original exe backed up somewhere if you want to play single player again.)

Then you download the Lan fix just below it on the same page, copy the fix into your game folder along with your no cd fixed exe apply the fix and there you go! (must be done on both pc's)

Worked for me! Enjoy ;)

Thanks S1v3r! Will give it a try. *crosses fingers* Will be post back if it works.

Well S1lv3r that never seemed to work either. I did it on my PC, Tried with his and it said with the patch that CoDWaW.exe is in use? No it isn't. So I just copy/pasted my patched one onto his.

I loaded up the game, same issue. "The game session is no longer available". Another strange thing though is that I was able to get into Nazi Zombies twice and then just never again. Another thing that confuses me is that I have to be the server because that's only when my sons PC sees my computer, if he sets up a server I don't see it, same issue if I use another PC and setup a server on that one, I don't see it.

Do you think there is not maybe a networking issues involved here aswell?

I had the same problem, could play co-op online but not on a LAN, but it seemed that the Call of Duty: World at War v1.4 LAN FIX sorted it out. Whenever I play on the LAN at my house against my son I use that exe, otherwise I play with the default exe on the net.

I got the file from http://www.gamecopyworld.com/ .

Thanks RaFi, I tried it..same issue. My sons PC can't see me and gets game not avaible. I tired that fix, patched to 1.4 and still nothing..same ****ing issue. I'm taking this bs back, not gonna waste my time with crap that doesn't work.

How is you firewall settings. I know in war3 if you have the firewall on then the pc can't join or you can't see those games.

They're off on both PC's. :/

I even went out and bought a Switch to see if it was maybe the router and its firewall etc. Same crap.

Hey man!

My brother and I had the same problem. I tried about everything to fix it, but nothing worked..

I was playing around with the game settings and turned off Punkbuster on both PC's in game options. And when I hosted I turned PB of in Game settings too, and he could connect to my game. No problems so far, we're playing co-op missions and the zombie one.

Hope it helps
PS. English is my 3d language ><
