Code 03 Driver's Licence Restriction

Hi All.

I recently got a code 03 driver's licence (Heavy motor vehicle) a few months ago.Can someone verify if its true that as from Jan 2010 people with code 03 driver's lic will not be allowed to drive a light motor vehicle licence without a code 2 (old code 08) driver's licence.Apparently it will be equavalent to driving without a driver's lic if one is stopped in a light motor vehicle without a code 2 driver's lic.

code 3 ? whats that ? symbol ? C, C1, EC1 EC ?A B EB ?

Currently C, C1, EC1 , EC ,B and EB.Excluding motor cycles.

if you have EC, you may drive every car and truck with a trailer.
