What is the best alternative to codecademy that is free?

I really want to learn all there is to learn in life and now I feel like dying since codecademy was so amazing

Since when has Codecademy not been free? At what point do they start asking for money, and what do their courses cost? Don't see any mention of paid content on their website.

Why must your online courses/tutorials be free? I've bought loads of courses on Udemy for $10 each, and they've provided more value than a R100k varsity education.

You dont get the full course

I know they have a support option where u pay to have your questions asked and so forth, but the courses are still free.

The option to pay for that, pops up when u busy with a courses, maybe that is what u saw.

What course did u do when it stopped and asked for u to pay to continue

it's $19 per month or limited free material

That's nuts, especially considering that Codecademy presents itself as a free service. I'd never pay so much for basic tuition.

Hell, that's more expensive than Creative Cloud Photography and Office 365 combined.

Worth watching udemy - picked up a great Android course for next to nothing when they were having specials.

You don't need to wait for sales. Just shop on their mobile app. I use the Android one and almost all courses are permanently $10.

You could go grab a steak and a beer down the pub with the lady (to keep tot he budget of $19 she's probably going to have to sit there watching you), or pay for a month of learning.

Besides that - youtube?

I feel codecademy still gives us the best basic fundamentals on how it works, and we can take it further by buying a book on the subject and watching a youtube video if there is on the topic.

Pretty much what i'm doing at the moment, yes it takes longer because i don't have someone telling or explaining things to me,but the web is full of information,it might just take a bit longer than usual.Or just pay for a month or two and work through it every night.
