I recently launched my own programming blog at https://codefunc.github.io

It's still a bit bare bones atm because I've largely focused on streamling the look / feel + in the background developing a lot of Jekyll Liquid scripts and JavaScript to substantially simplify the process of writing code based articles.

I come to a point where I think feedback could help; I know there's not much atm to look at, but could you give it a once over and let me know:
  • What you like
  • What you don't like
  • What doesn't work
  • What needs improvement
  • How is the speed / usability overall? Ps. I'm aiming for this to be quick, yet I haven't had a chance to refactor the new JS and CSS additions, so in time it should get smaller, similarly haven't had a chance to compact the generated HTML.

As for the content; you should hopefully start to see new articles published from next week onwards (barring any major site issues)

Also does anybody have some recommendations re:
  • I added a button to download a block of code; however I think would be useful to download all the code linked to a particular article. My question: does anyone know of a way to take multiple files of a particular extension and package this as a single download. Key here is automation; don't really want to have to maintain scripts to manually zip up files.

Need more content. :) Can look like a horse-turd for all I care... and as long as it loads I'm fine.
Hahaha... thanks for the turd reference

Content is simply a matter of time... plus you can always contribute...:whistling:
