I know you get a fluid or spray thingy to clean your screen. I think theres one for your keyboard too.

When I worked at a cellphone shop during varsity, we'd fix water-damaged cellphones by giving an "acid bath". basically just 100% pure alcohol. I'd try opening up the lappie as much as you feel comfy with and then going crazy with the alcohol (the pure stuff you buy at the pharmacy) whie the lappie is off.

Mines a newish Lenovo SL510. It apparently has special spillproofness. So no major problems. Yet.
