Never expected them to be found guilty of attempted murder , the rest of the charges are expected

Lol they threatened him they did not do it or tried to do it so I guess that one wont stick, but they will get the max sentence for all the other I can almost be sure off.

Does not look good or the KFC guys then if this is the route
 
This will teach farmers to shoot the criminals and disappear the bodies, like in the other case of the Brits orange thiefs. Anything less and you will just cause shït for yourself.
 
Another waste of time and money as their appeal will have a different verdict.
 

If I'm not mistaken, attempted murder requires an overt act that would lead to death. That doesn't meet it in my view. Its the equivalent of pointing a gun at someone but not firing.

If they had actually lit the coffin on fire, then yes there is your overt act.

Anyone with better legal experience is free to correct me though, but that is my understanding of our law.
 
What does "alleged" mean precisely? Is it still "alleged" after admission and conviction?
