It's a despicable act to do to any human. That does not make it inherently racist. If Reeva was black, but everything else was the same, it would probably also have been condemned as racism by our local BLM activists.

That is one of the big things wrong with this country at the moment - bad acts keep getting related to race, which seems to make them worse(if you're white), or justified(if you're black).

Interesting how some white people will do anything to avoid the subject of white racists and will rather attempt to deflect the conversation to talking about evil black people instead. It might be time to own this **** and deal with it instead of pointing fingers. Just like we want Muslim people to own their extremist elements and deal with them, so the same is true for white south africans. Stop trying to make excuses for these guys, pretend it wasn't racist or deflect attention away from it. We need to be united in condemning this sort of behaviour which comes from our own culture.

The problem comes in where as soon as its a white person committing a crime, race is brought into it immediately even if that isn't an apparent factor. However if a black person commits a crime then race isn't brought into it unless that black person explicitly states it; and even then it may not be labeled as a racist crime in the media or by society at large.

Or they just apologize saying that they did not mean it and get some duties to perform while others get huge penalties. Jus depends on the skin colour and this attude is the official local stance and biased law society's.

If I used that word refering to a black individual I would probably be banned as well as become Penny Sparrow no 2 . You are right. If the "victim" was white or any other race nothing would have been done about it at all.
