Coffin assault trial

Catch a wake up. They gave up as the state opposed.

Probably would have had to pay R1m bail as opposed by the R150.00 norm for criminals.
Bail gets determined according to their income. So it sould be affordable, but enough to keep you from running away. I am guessing they have a bad lawyer.

Ja pretty disappointing. As soon as we get the ANC out in 2019 the DA won't last long. Everyone is no only voting to get the ANC out

EFF is the future. I am disgruntled ANC supporter, but I am quickly becoming a fan of EFF. They know whats up.

You mean they are more racist against whites than the ANC which suits your style, hopes and agenda more. Probably suits the logic too.

:crylaugh:

Clearly you see no relevance to this case. Sad to see this behaviour, allow me to quote the important rights relevant to this case,

Equality

- You cannot be discriminated against. But affirmative action and fair discrimination are allowed.

Human Dignity

- Your dignity must be respected and protected.

Life

- You have the right to life.

Freedom and Security of the Person

- You cannot be detained without trial, tortured or punished cruelly.

And then you have,

Arrested, Detained and Accused Persons

- These rights protect people arrested, imprisoned or accused of a crime.

I struggle to see this as a laughable concern. The only right in question is equality, and is biasedly applied at times, but the other rights do apply.

Yep. Thats fair equality in the eyes of the beholder.

So to discriminate against a trespasser when he is black is unfair and thus racism?

LOL. No wonder this country is a mess. Next time I will invite the usual tresspassers for tea rather even 24/7.

You have already given an example of the first one being questionable. Lets go through the others:

Human Dignity - the ANC, political parties and the media will outlandishly go ape$hit over an event like PurpleFace, making that person a target for ridicule on the street. Even this case is starting to push everything. You even have judges allowing cameras into court rooms to make a trial into a TV drama.

Life- the same human right keeping terminally ill people from ending their life. Charming. Also the same right that states that the life of a criminal is worth more than your entire net worth.

Freedom and Security of the Person- EFF leader spews hate about arbitrary deprivation of property. Nothing happens.

Arrested, Detained and Accused Persons- /Looks at state of Pollsmoor prison.

Human rights in this country were a noble goal, but idealism isn't the best way to solve the real world problems we have in this country.
