So we get our CoJ bill via MMS, which my phone cannot open as I am on contract and have no MMS balance or air time. Been an issue for a while but I have been paying blind each month without seeing an invoice for about 2 years now. Just got an SMS saying I owe just under R900.

Anyone have any experience seeing bills online or anything. I tried to go the CoJ website and google said I should not continue as the site is unsafe.

Is there a way to get the bill via email to anyone's knowledge and is it reliable?

You can get the bill online if you're registered for eservices. I do this since they don't email my bill to me despite numerous requests.

You need your rate-payer number (the same as the reference for your payments) and a PIN number you can get by calling CoJ. You also have to make an account for eservices with a user name and password.

Their website is displaying the unsafe message for now, but I would guess that the brightest minds in their IT department will be addressing the problem (as soon as they figure out how to plug in the keyboard).

Lol. OK, registered on their unsafe site. Have my account number from the SMS they sent me. All I need is the pin. On hold for an agent to get that as it is apparently displayed on the bills I have not being getting for 2 years now. Love it when a website emails you back your password. So glad I pick unique passwords as I don't trust these guys as far as I could throw them.
